  I attended your store last night with my 10 yo (who did not touch a thing in the store) to purchase a bottle of wine. I was well dressed, I am of mature age and clearly not intoxicated. To be confronted by a “trainee” staff member demanding my daughters ID (who was standing behind me at all times) was nothing but absurd. After questioning the attendant about what she was babbling about, I was provided with “if I sell this bottle to you, you will be passing this onto a minor and I will lose my job”……..what???? After a few minutes of completely meaningless conversation, I left the store in disgust.

  I called your customer service line to be told that it’s Liquorlands policy not to sell alcohol to anyone who has a child with them because it is irresponsible service. So, I decided to challenge your policy and drove to Artarmon….well, well, child in tow, I purchased wine and beer and nothing was said. Today, I went to your Neutral Bay store and again purchased wine with my daughter and nothing was said.

  Worst customer service. I walked into the store 15 minutes before closing and the store clerk gave me the feeling of being rushed out of the store. When I realised I purchased the wrong bottle and wanted to go back to return it, he saw me coming back and he started closing the shutters! Poor selection, poor service.

  If you want to implement a policy stating “you cannot purchase alcohol from Liquorland if you have a child with you, then clearly display a sign stating “be an irresponsible parent and leave your child unattended outside if you want to purchase alcohol from our shop”.

  I wait ard 2 mins, he come to me without any smile and so rude to ask for my id, after I show him on the table,he didn't take it to hv a look and didn't say finish to check for my id and didn't say how much should I pay, until I gave him the money, he give me my wine. never say thank you or smile.
